Remediation and redevelopment of a 44-acre former steel mill situated on Bridgeport Harbor. The site was contaminated by previous land uses and covered with debris and foundations. Redevelopment initiative restored land to economic vitality and encouraged new, water-dependent industries. TPA prepared plans for foundation removal; bulkheads and revetment; dredging of Yellow Mill Channel to facilitate access; new buildings; pier construction for a high-capacity mobile boat hoist; and filling to reduce flood hazard. Oversaw geotechnical and environmental investigations; assisted with permitting at the local, state and federal levels.
