 TPA prepared an overall concept plan and estimate of probable cost for streetscape improvements along a ½ mile segment of East High Street (Connecticut Route 66) in the commercial center of East Hampton. Proposed improvements include installation of curb, sidewalks, decorative crosswalks, trees, ornamental lighting and gateway improvements. The plan and cost estimate were used to prioritize the first phase of construction. The project is funded by the Small Town Economic Assistance Program (STEAP). TPA also assisted the town in reviewing ConnDOT plans for two intersection improvements along the corridor for context sensitivity. Project is under construction. |
