MICHAEL J. BORST, PE

Civil Engineer

 

Michael Borst, Civil Engineer, joined TPA in 2023. He is a Professional Engineer responsible for site engineering, cost estimating, permitting, specification preparation and construction administration on projects ranging from redevelopment of underutilized industrial properties to new commercial and residential projects. Michael has worked for public and private clients in various municipalities throughout the states of Connecticut and New York.  He has worked closely with City/Town Engineers, Planning and Public Works Departments, NYSDOT, and CTDOT. 

OLIVER W. GAFFNEY, ASLA

Landscape Architect

 

Oliver joined TPA in 2015. With a strong background in horticulture, landscape construction, and maintenance, his responsibilities include site analysis investigations, preparation of site plans for municipal approvals, development of construction documents, and management of construction administration services. Oliver's previous experience as a design-build contractor includes dozens of built projects related to high-end residential and ecological restoration projects.

DAVID S. GOLEBIEWSKI, ASLA

President

 

David Golebiewski has been with TPA Design Group since 1980 and has served as President since 2000. As a Landscape Architect, his work includes coordination of large scale private commercial and residential developments, as well as public improvement projects. Mr. Golebiewski’s responsibilities include business development, technical direction of staff, contract negotiations, staff allocation, and budget monitoring.  His technical involvement includes master planning, conceptual plan development, supervision of plan and specification preparation, and public presentation

 

LAUREN M. WHOLEY, ASLA

Landscape Architect

Lauren joined TPA in 2022. Her project experience includes public master planning, transportation, private residential commissions, and commercial development projects. Lauren's responsibilities include site analysis, schematic design, design development, construction documentation, planting and lighting design, mitigation and restoration design, and wetland and zoning permit applications.

JOHN V. ZYRLIS JR.

Site Planner

 

For over 45 years, John Zyrlis has been responsible for conducting development feasibility analyses, preparing site plans, applications for local approvals and public presentations.  Mr. Zyrlis is adept at the interpretation of local and state permit requirements, engineering data for conceptual and final planning, site development, parking and access configurations.
