COOPERATIVE ARTS AND HUMANITIES HIGH SCHOOL

NEW HAVEN, CT

Working with the City of New Haven School Construction Program and Cesar Pelli, Project Architect, TPA evaluated multiple sites for feasibility and conformance with site-related project development factors such as bus drop-off, parking, grading, utilities, and interface with surrounding development. The final site location provided unique challenges for development including minimizing stormwater runoff, connection of proposed utilities through existing structures, bus and truck turning analysis between an existing hotel and the school, coordination for the installation of a 10’x70’ underground transformer vault and development of a traffic control plan for the construction period.
