TPA Design Group prepared grading, drainage and utility plans and assisted with obtaining the Site Plan approval and CTDEP Stormwater discharge permit for a 196,568 GSF shopping center on approximately 18 acres on a former railyard and scrapyard site. The site improvements will help accomplish the remediation of PCB and creosote contamination dating from historic site uses. Proposed improvements include a seating area overlooking the adjacent Quinnipiac Riverand tidal marshlands. The site plan calls for 986 parking spaces and over 230 shade and flowering trees, full cut-off site lighting, and direct infiltration of roof stormwater runoff.
