ST. THOMAS MORE

NEW HAVEN, CT

TPA Design Group prepared site design and construction documents for the expansion of St. Thomas More Church.  This 42,000 sf addition incorporated meeting rooms, prayer rooms, dining hall, game rooms and other amenities.  In addition, site plans included a new retail facility to be built on additional land of the project site.  The site, located in the urban core adjacent to the Yale University campus, presented many challenges ranging in scope from the ability to provide parking and truck access, to the protection and preservation of the on-site burial plot of Father Riggs, the first Catholic Chaplain at Yale.
